New stent trial aims to ease debilitating symptoms for advanced cancer patients
NCT ID NCT04629677
Summary
This study is testing a procedure to place a small tube (stent) in a blocked liver vein for patients with gastrointestinal cancers. The goal is to see if opening the vein is safe, helps keep it open, and improves patients' symptoms, nutrition, and overall well-being. Researchers will compare results between patients who get the stent and similar patients who do not.
