Home sleep test for kids with autism could ease diagnosis delays

NCT ID NCT07367022

Summary

This study is testing if a simple, portable sleep monitor can accurately detect sleep apnea in children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Researchers will compare the results from the portable device to the standard, more complex overnight hospital sleep study. The goal is to see if home testing is a viable option, which could make diagnosis easier and faster for families.
