Wearable sleeve challenges bulky pump in fight against leg swelling

NCT ID NCT05507346

Summary

This study tested a new, portable, non-pneumatic compression sleeve (Dayspring) against a standard advanced pneumatic compression pump for treating lower leg lymphedema. It involved 121 adults with leg swelling to see which device was better at reducing limb volume, improving quality of life, and which one patients preferred to use. The goal was to find a more convenient and effective way to manage this chronic condition.
