New pain block could make port implantation less painful

Summary

This study tests if a special nerve block (SPSIP block) works better than standard numbing medicine for reducing pain during port catheter placement. About 70 adults having this procedure will be randomly assigned to one of the two methods. The goal is to find a more comfortable experience for patients.
