Could pork power up your weight loss meds?
NCT ID NCT07480109
Summary
This study is testing if eating protein-rich pork foods helps women lose more weight and feel better while taking GLP-1 medications like Ozempic or Wegovy. Researchers will compare 75 middle-aged women with obesity who either just take their medication or take it while also eating extra pork protein daily for 12 weeks. They will measure changes in body fat, muscle, eating habits, and overall well-being.
