Summary
This study follows 5,000 children aged 0-16 years for one year after surgery to find out how many develop long-lasting pain and why. Parents and children fill out questionnaires before and after surgery to identify risk factors like anxiety or pain history. The goal is to better understand and eventually prevent chronic post-surgical pain in kids.
