Blood clue hunt: can platelets predict pregnancy danger?

NCT ID NCT06194643

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 26, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study looks at how platelets (blood cells that help clotting) change in pregnant women at high risk for preeclampsia, a serious condition involving high blood pressure. Researchers will collect blood samples before and during aspirin therapy to see if platelet activity is linked to pregnancy problems. The goal is to better understand these changes, not to test a new treatment.
