This study tests a drug called ponatinib in 50 adults with chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) whose cancer did not respond to or they could not tolerate other targeted therapies. The goal is to see if ponatinib can control the disease by blocking a protein that helps cancer cells grow. Participants will take the drug and be monitored for side effects and how well the leukemia is controlled.
