Could a daily glass of pomegranate juice calm a troubled gut?
NCT ID NCT07115862
Summary
This UCLA study is testing whether drinking pomegranate juice daily for 8 weeks can help people with mild-to-moderate ulcerative colitis. Researchers want to see if the juice reduces gut inflammation, improves quality of life, and changes the mix of gut bacteria. The study involves 30 adults who will either drink the juice or follow their normal diet during different phases.
