Summary
This study aimed to create a reference chart showing what normal lung function looks like for healthy Polish children and teenagers. Researchers measured the lungs of 2000 healthy kids aged 3 to 18 using a simple breathing test. The resulting charts will help doctors better identify and monitor children whose lung function falls outside the normal range.
