10-Year watch: does this hip implant stand the test of time?

NCT ID NCT02648152

Summary

This study followed 218 patients for up to 10 years to see how well a specific cementless hip implant (the POLARSTEM) works and lasts for people with severe osteoarthritis. Researchers tracked pain, mobility, and X-ray changes to measure the implant's performance and safety over time. The goal was to confirm if this implant is a reliable, long-term option for hip replacement surgery.
