Summary
This early-stage study tests a new cell therapy called GNTI-122 in 16 adults recently diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. The therapy is made from the participant's own blood cells and aims to help the body better manage blood sugar by preserving insulin-making cells. The main goal is to check safety and how long the cells last, with some participants also receiving a drug called rapamycin to see if it helps the therapy work better.
