NCT ID NCT07460921

First seen Apr 03, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 8 times

Summary

This study tests whether short educational podcasts (5-6 minutes each) can help first-time mothers reduce symptoms of postpartum depression, strengthen their bond with their baby, and improve their ability to care for themselves. 110 women who give birth at a hospital in Istanbul will be randomly assigned to either listen to four podcasts or receive standard discharge instructions. Researchers will measure depression, attachment, and self-care before and after the intervention.
