First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study tests a small, sticky chest sensor called PneumoRator that measures breathing rate continuously. Researchers will put it on 50 adults having major surgery and compare its readings to standard hospital monitors. The goal is to see if the device is accurate and comfortable enough for everyday hospital use, which could help catch patient declines earlier.
