Summary
This study looked back at the medical records of 104 adults who were treated in intensive care for severe pneumonia. Researchers wanted to see how well two common types of antibiotics worked against the bacteria causing the infection. The goal is to help doctors choose the most effective antibiotic from the start, which can improve recovery and reduce side effects.
