Summary

This study aimed to find out if giving children hospitalized with pneumonia a longer course of antibiotics leads to better health outcomes than a shorter course. Researchers compared two treatment durations in 314 children aged 3 months to 5 years. The goal was to determine the most effective treatment length to control the infection and prevent future breathing problems.
