Can a new vaccine protect vulnerable kids from serious infections?
NCT ID NCT07252791
Summary
This study is testing how well a newer pneumonia vaccine works and how safe it is for children and young adults (ages 2-25) who have autoimmune rheumatic diseases like juvenile arthritis or lupus. These patients are at higher risk for infections, and the research will measure their immune response and any side effects after getting the shot. The study will also see if their regular medications or physical activity levels affect how well the vaccine works.
