First seen Jan 30, 2026 · Last updated Jun 15, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study looked at 179 ICU patients with pneumonia to understand how antibiotics behave differently in their bodies compared to other patients. The goal was to find the best personalized doses of common antibiotics to make sure enough medicine reaches the lungs to kill the infection. The results will help design future trials to improve survival and reduce antibiotic resistance.
