New injection aims to protect cancer patients from Chemotherapy's Blood-Thinning danger

NCT ID NCT06521931

Summary

This early-stage study tested a new injection called PN20, given right before chemotherapy, to see if it could safely prevent a dangerous drop in platelets (the cells that help blood clot). It involved 24 adults with lymphoma or solid tumors who had experienced low platelets during prior chemotherapy. The main goal was to check if PN20 was safe and well-tolerated, and to see if it could help keep platelet counts at a safer level.
