Summary

This study looked at a minimally invasive procedure called plug embolization to treat chronic pelvic pain in women with Pelvic Congestion Syndrome. Doctors inserted a small plug into enlarged pelvic veins to block them, aiming to reduce pain and improve quality of life. The study followed 44 women to see how well the procedure worked by tracking their pain levels and daily function before and after treatment.
