Could a safer dose fight lung infections?
NCT ID NCT05766124
Summary
This study is testing if a lower dose of a medication (tPA) injected into the chest works as well as the standard dose for treating serious lung infections with fluid buildup. It aims to see if the lower dose can clear the infection effectively while possibly reducing the risk of bleeding. The study will enroll 30 patients and follow them for 3 months to check the treatment's success and safety.
