Playtime as therapy: can fun activities boost skills for kids with disabilities?

NCT ID NCT06735482

Summary

This study tested whether a special program of play-based activities could help improve motor skills and daily living abilities in children with mild intellectual disability. Researchers worked with 20 Egyptian children aged 5-9, comparing those who received 24 sessions of therapeutic play over two months to those who received standard care. The goal was to see if fun, structured play could help children develop better coordination and independence in everyday tasks.
