Can playtime ease the pain of chemo for kids?
NCT ID NCT06368947
Summary
This study is testing whether a special type of play therapy can help children and teenagers with leukemia cope better during chemotherapy. Researchers will work with 66 kids, aged 10 to 18, who are receiving treatment. Over four weeks, children in the therapy group will have play sessions designed to help them express emotions and build pain tolerance, while their progress is compared to a group receiving standard care.
