Weekly shot vs. daily injection: race to stop bleeding after transplant

NCT ID NCT07400341

Summary

This study is for adults with MDS or aplastic anemia who are getting a donor stem cell transplant. After transplant, patients often struggle to make enough platelets, which are cells that help stop bleeding. The study will compare a new weekly injection (romiplostim) against a standard daily injection (rhTPO) to see which one helps platelets recover faster and more safely. About 66 participants will be randomly assigned to receive one of the two drugs starting a few days after their transplant.
