First seen May 08, 2026 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study compares two surgical techniques for people whose nasopharyngeal cancer has come back after initial treatment. Half the participants will receive a newer, low-temperature plasma ablation, while the other half will receive standard high-frequency electrocautery. The goal is to see which method leads to longer survival without the cancer progressing. The trial plans to enroll 500 participants.
