First seen Mar 26, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study tests whether a combination of three cholesterol-lowering medicines (bempedoic acid, ezetimibe, and a high-intensity statin) can reduce and stabilize plaque buildup in the coronary arteries. It includes 103 adults with early atherosclerosis who have never had a heart attack or stroke and are not on any cholesterol drugs. Participants will receive the triple therapy and have their plaque changes measured over time using imaging.
