First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tested whether using mouth rinses or chewing gum between morning and evening brushing reduces plaque buildup and improves breath freshness. Twenty healthy adults tried five different products (or no product) on separate days. Plaque was measured by staining teeth and taking photos, and participants rated their mouth freshness. The goal was to see if these products help maintain oral cleanliness during the day.
