Broccoli-Based brain defense: can a plant compound slow neurological decline?
NCT ID NCT07360977
Summary
This study is testing whether a supplement made from a compound found in broccoli (glucoraphanin) can help control the progression of neurodegenerative diseases. It will enroll 300 adults with Parkinson's or Multiple Sclerosis, and children with neuromuscular diseases, to see if the treatment can preserve brain health, reduce symptoms, and improve quality of life. Researchers will measure changes in brain scans, physical abilities, and cognitive function over time.
