Could Plant-Based meals boost recovery for cancer patients?

NCT ID NCT06559709

Summary

This small pilot study tested whether providing plant-based meals could help multiple myeloma patients during a stem cell transplant. Researchers delivered meals and snacks to 26 patients to see if improving diet could support their gut health and recovery. The main goal was to check if this approach was practical and acceptable to patients, not to prove it works.
