Scientists brew up special drink to fight Age-Related decline
NCT ID NCT07409480
Summary
This study is testing a specially designed oat-based drink, fortified with vitamin D, zinc, and other nutrients, to see if it can improve immune function and reduce inflammation in older adults. Researchers will enroll 70 participants aged 60-80 and have them drink either the fortified beverage or a placebo daily for 12 weeks. The main goal is to see if the drink lowers a key marker of inflammation (hsCRP) and improves various health measures related to aging.
