Can eating more plants fight prostate cancer?
NCT ID NCT07220499
Summary
This study tested whether following a mostly whole food plant-based diet for six months could help men whose prostate cancer is showing signs of activity (rising PSA levels). Eleven men attended cooking and nutrition classes, ate more plant foods, and provided blood samples. Researchers measured changes in their PSA levels and other health markers like cholesterol and blood sugar.
