NCT ID NCT07544524
First seen Apr 24, 2026 · Last updated Jun 10, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a diet where at least half of protein comes from plants is safe and doable for people with stage 3 or 4 chronic kidney disease in Singapore. About 40 adults will choose either a plant-based diet with regular dietitian support or standard kidney diet advice. Researchers will track kidney function, potassium levels, nutrition, and quality of life over two years to see if the plant-based approach is practical and beneficial.
