NCT ID NCT07189676

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study tests whether sustainable diets, like the Planetary Health Diet or a vegetarian diet, can improve heart health in 180 adults aged 45-70 who are at risk for heart disease. Participants will follow one of three diets for a period, and researchers will measure changes in blood pressure, cholesterol, blood sugar, and other markers. The goal is to see if eating in a way that's good for the planet can also reduce heart disease risk.
