Placenta power: new skin grafts aim to heal diabetic wounds

Summary

This study is testing whether four different skin graft products made from human placenta, when added to standard wound care, can help close stubborn diabetic foot ulcers better than standard care alone. It will enroll 272 adults with diabetes who have had a foot ulcer for 4 to 52 weeks. The main goal is to see if more ulcers are fully healed after 12 weeks of treatment.
