Summary
This study tested whether a special MRI scan could tell the difference between healthy babies and babies with poor growth due to placental problems. Pregnant women breathed pure oxygen while the MRI measured changes in the placenta and fetus. The goal was to find a safe, non-invasive way to diagnose placental insufficiency early.
