Hospital reviews decade of Life-Saving techniques for High-Risk births

NCT ID NCT07236710

Summary

This study looks back at 10 years of medical records to understand how doctors at one hospital have treated a dangerous pregnancy condition called placenta accreta. Researchers will examine 300 cases where the placenta attaches too deeply to the uterus, which can cause severe bleeding during delivery. The goal is to compare different surgical approaches—from complete hysterectomy to newer uterus-preserving techniques—to see which methods work best for controlling bleeding while preserving fertility when possible.
