First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study looks at how much protein adults with PKU need, based on their genetic type and the special medical foods they eat. Researchers will measure protein needs using a breath test in 12 adults. The goal is to improve dietary advice for people with PKU, not to test a new treatment.
