Summary
This study looked at adults with high cholesterol who switched from a single statin drug to a combination pill containing pitavastatin and ezetimibe. Over 6,900 participants were followed for 24 weeks to see how much their LDL (bad) cholesterol dropped. The goal was to see if the switch was safe and more effective at controlling cholesterol levels.
