Summary

This study is testing a new oral medication called pirtobrutinib for adults with immune thrombocytopenia (ITP), a condition where the immune system attacks blood platelets. The first part checks the drug's safety and side effects, while the second part compares different doses to a placebo to see how well it raises and maintains platelet counts. The goal is to find a dose that helps control the disease with fewer bleeding risks.
