Summary

This early-stage study tested a new oral medication called PIPE-791 to see if it is safe and can help reduce pain. It involved 43 adults with long-term pain from knee arthritis or low back pain. Participants tried both the drug and a placebo for four weeks each to compare their effects on pain levels and safety.
