First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study looked at how much a specific hip implant (the Pinnacle shell) moves in the body during the first two years after surgery. Researchers used special X-ray techniques to measure this movement in 100 people getting hip replacements for arthritis. The study was terminated early, so results are limited.
