Summary

This small study tested whether a pine bark extract supplement could help reduce fatigue and improve recovery after intense exercise. Fourteen healthy adults took either the supplement or a placebo for four days before performing cycling tests. Researchers measured how long participants could exercise to exhaustion and checked blood markers for fatigue, inflammation, and muscle damage.
