Summary

This study tested a prototype system that uses a tilt table and lower body pressure chamber to create conditions of low blood pressure and blood pooling in the legs. The goal is to help military pilots train to avoid blackouts and improve safety. 46 pilots and cadets took part, and researchers measured heart rate, blood pressure, and other body signals.
