First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 28 times
Summary
This study tests a program called Project RISE that helps college students become more aware of their body's signals, like hunger and emotions. The goal is to see if this can reduce suicidal thoughts and eating disorder symptoms. About 200 students with past or current suicidal thoughts or low body awareness will be randomly assigned to either the RISE program or a general health habits program. The study measures changes through surveys and body tests.
