First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study tested two exercise programs—MAT Pilates and a combined MIHA (electrical muscle stimulation) program—in 40 adults aged 25 to 45 with nonspecific back pain lasting at least 3 months. The goal was to see which approach better reduces pain, improves daily function, lowers anxiety, and boosts endurance. Participants were assessed before and after the programs using pain pressure measurements, disability and anxiety questionnaires, and core endurance tests.
