Can exercise stop chemo patients from falling?
NCT ID NCT07137078
Summary
This study tested whether Pilates or Gyrotonic exercise is better at helping cancer survivors manage nerve damage caused by chemotherapy. The nerve damage causes pain, numbness, and balance problems, which greatly increase the risk of falls. Researchers enrolled 100 adults who had finished chemotherapy to see if these specific exercise programs could reduce their symptoms and improve safety.
