Summary
This study investigates whether adding Pilates-based exercises to standard Schroth training improves lung capacity, trunk muscle strength, posture, and quality of life in adolescents with idiopathic scoliosis. Participants, aged 10-18 with a spinal curve between 10 and 45 degrees, will be randomly assigned to either Schroth exercises alone or Schroth plus Pilates for 8 weeks. The goal is to see if the combined approach offers greater benefits for physical and psychosocial outcomes.
