Gentle pilates could ease debilitating pain for thousands with hypermobility
NCT ID NCT07464093
Summary
This study is testing whether a 6-week Pilates program, led by a physical therapist, can help adults with hypermobility conditions like Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome manage their chronic pain and improve daily function. Researchers will measure pain levels, movement fear, and overall physical and mental health before and after the program. The main goal is to see if this approach is practical and acceptable to participants before planning larger studies.
