Pig placenta patch tested for stubborn wounds
NCT ID NCT07170566
Summary
This study looked back at real-world medical records to see how safe and effective a special wound dressing called InnovaMatrix® AC was. The dressing is made from processed pig placenta and was used on 67 patients with wounds that were not healing well with standard care. Researchers checked how much the wounds shrank and how long they took to close completely.
