Gentler jaw surgery tool aims to spare nerves and speed recovery
NCT ID NCT07174193
Summary
This study aims to see if a newer, gentler bone-cutting tool called piezosurgery leads to better results than standard tools for corrective jaw surgery. Researchers will compare the two techniques in 70 adults to see if the newer method causes less nerve damage, reduces bleeding, and leads to fewer complications. They will also check if it is more cost-effective and environmentally friendly.
